LOOK: Darryl Yap with QC Mayor Joy Belmonte

Controversial director Darryl Yap was declared persona non grata by the Quezon City Council in a resolution filed by District IV Councilor Ivy Lagman last month.

But it didn't stop Darryl from visiting the city's mayor Joy Belmonte right in her office, recently.

A photo of them together was uploaded on VinCentiments' Facebook page.

"the seal, the mayor, the director #MiMpremierenight," the caption read.

In another post, Darryl could be seen posing along tarpaulins and posters of his upcoming film "Maid in Malacañang" at SM North EDSA The Block.

The caption read: "premiere night inspection."

Lagman’s resolution stemmed from the two-minute, 21-second video posted on Darryl’s Vincentiments’ Facebook Page, featuring AiAi portraying the character “Ligaya Delmonte.”

She accused Darryl and AiAi of supposedly disrespecting the city’s seal.
 
Darryl said then: “I don’t actually feel any hard feelings, or I don’t bear any ill feelings to Mayor Belmonte because she is entitled to feel offended or feel like inasar siya or nilait siya or anything.”
