5 men massacred in Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan


Police are investigating the murder of five men whose bodies were found Monday, July 25, in a hilly portion of Barangay Camachile in Dona Remedios Trinidad (DRT) town, Bulacan.

Capt. Eugenio de Ramos Jr., DRT town police chief, identified the victims as Pampilo Bonaga alias Pilo, 55; Angelo del Castillo, 33; Carlito Servano alias Caloy, 48; Pola Servano, legal age; and Antonio Servano, 45, all residents of Sitio Armstrong, Barangay Camachile.

The five victims were lying face down with gunshot wounds in the head and body when found by responding members of the 70 Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army and the DRT Municipal Police.

Police investigators said that a caretaker of the place identified as Habert Prencillo arrived in the area at 10:30 a.m. Monday to deliver food for the victims, who were hired to trim the grass in the 17-hectare land.

He was later shocked upon seeing the five victims already lifeless with gunshot wounds in the head and body and being swarmed by ants.

As of this writing, police probers were still conducting investigation to identify the suspects in the murder of the five victims.
