VP Sara, Rep. Duterte attend opening of 19th Congress

VICE President Sara Duterte, dressed in a native attire, and brother, Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte, attend the opening of the first regular session of the 19th Congress Monday, July 25.

DAVAO CITY – Davao City Reps. Paolo Z. Duterte, Vincent Garcia, and Isidro Ungab attended the opening of the first regular session of the House of Representatives of the 19th Congress, Monday morning, July 25, at the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.

The three lawmakers will attend the first State-of-the-Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the afternoon.

Vice President Sara Duterte was also seen during the first session day of Congress, per photos sent by the Rep. Duterte’s office.

The Vice President will also attend the SONA.

Rep. Duterte said he was throwing his full support to the President.

"I have given my vote to him, and I've announced this publicly during the kickoff of my campaign. I am sure that he will do good things for the country and the people," said Duterte.
