Seventeen's 'Sector 17' sells 1.1 million copies in one week; ITZY No. 2 on chart  

K-pop boy band Seventeen sold more than one million copies of their repackaged album in one week and grabbed first place on the weekly chart in South Korea.

Seventeen released “Sector 17” on July 18, the repackaged version of their fourth studio album “Face the Sun,” which came out on May 27.

According to the Korea’s chart Hanteo Chart, “Sector 17” sold a total of 1,126,104 copies in the first week of release from July 18 to 14, compared to 2,067,769 copies in the first week for “Face the Sun.”

With the album, Seventeen also topped Hanteo’s weekly physical album chart from July 18 to 24 with the same total sales.

“Sector 17” sold 935,138 copies on the first day of release of July 18, compared to 1.75 million copies in first-day sales for “Face the Sun.”

ITZY took second place on Hanteo’s weekly chart with “Checkmate” selling 177,526 copies followed by STAYC’s “We Need Love” with 153,684 copies.

P1Harmony’s “Harmon: Zero In” took fourth place with 72,947 copies sold followed by Aespa’s “Girls” album taking fifth place with 48,504.
