P2-M shabu seized in Dumaguete City buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY – Two suspected drug pushers were arrested and 280.56 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,907,808 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagacay, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental Monday, July 25.

Police identified the suspects as Jovic Calibo Nano, 24, of Siquijor, and Janjan Banaldia, 21, of Dumaguete City.

Police considered them high-value individuals in the illegal drugs trade.

Recovered from them were a digital weighing scale, canister, traveling bag, and the P2,000 marked money.

The operation was conducted by the Dumaguete City Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, PNP Drug Enforcement Group, and Dumaguete Maritime Police Station.

Suspects are detained at the Dumaguete City Police Station and are facing drug charges.
