Warm weather will prevail across the country in the next 24 hours due to the prevalence of the easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Saturday, July 23.
The whole archipelago will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of rain showers or thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon or evening.
PAGASA warned against flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms, which are often accompanied by sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusty winds, and sometimes hail.
PAGASA said that there is a slim chance of tropical cyclone development throughout the coming week.
However, updates through weather advisories will be issued if there will be significant chances in the weather scenario, it added.
