All classes for all levels are suspended in Quezon City on Monday, July 25, for the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.,
“The city government will likewise suspend classes in all levels on Monday as a courtesy to President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr., who will deliver his first State of the Nation Address,” The city government said in a statement on Friday, July 22.
“To avoid inconveniencing students who may find transportation difficult. Quezon City-based businesses are likewise highly encouraged to do the same, or adopt work-from-home arrangements, in order to ease mobility requirements and congestion,” it added.
The local government also reminded the organizers of activities, assemblies, and rallies are encouraged to follow minimum health protocols to avoid transmission of Covid-19.
They also reminded the organizers to discipline their ranks and finish their activities on the agreed time.
