Government anti-narcotics operatives uprooted on Friday, July 22, some P4 million worth of fully-grown marijuana in raid conducted in Toledo City in Cebu.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said an estimated 10,000 fully grown marijuana plants planted in 1,000 square meter lot were discovered in the area.

The agency, however, said the subjects of the marijuana eradication operation Richard U. Cañaleso and his brother Caloy eluded arrest.
It took a three-hour trek before authorities reached the marijuana plantation plant at 8:30 a.m. in Sitio Hikapon, Barangay General Climaco.
The Cañaleso brothers which is now the subject of a manhunt operation face charges for violation of Section 16, Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’
