Isabela solon Albano catches Covid

Isabela Rep. Antonio “Tonypet” Albano tested positive for Covid-19.

Albano asked prayers for his speedy recovery.

"May I humbly ask for your prayers as I have tested positive for Covid for the very first time. And I have asthma as my comorbidity," Albano said in a Facebook post Tuesday, July 19.

Despite being positive, he said he has not experienced any symptoms of Covid-19 other than body pain.

Albano is thankful that he has completed the vaccine against the virus as well as the booster shot.

He encouraged the public to get vaccinated and take booster shots as well as additional protection against Covid-19.

"I am taking my medications and vitamins, and I am isolating myself, so that I do not pass the virus to anyone. I am helping myself by being conscious about my surroundings and health."

He is currently isolated and recovering.
