Woman, 60, 19-year-old partner nabbed in Laguna buy-bust

KAMPO HENERAL PACIANO RIZAL, Sta. Cruz, Laguna – A 60-year-old woman and her 19-year-old partner were arrested in a buy-bust operation Tuesday, July 19, in Calamba City, Laguna.

Police Col. Cecilio Ison Jr. identified the suspects as Segunda Capusi, alias “Dina,” single, of Barangay Sampiruhan, Calamba, and Mark Joseph Decena, 19, single, of Barangay Pansol, also in Calamba.

The Calamba police arrested the suspects at 2:45 a.m. in Barangay 1 after they sold suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

Seized from the suspects were seven grams of shabu with an estimated value of P47,600.

The woman is a known source of shabu in Barangay 1 and nearby barangays.

Suspects are now in the custody of the Calamba police and will be presented before the Office of the City Prosecutor for inquest proceedings for violation of Section 5, 11, and 26 of Republic Act (RA) No. 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
