The Quezon City government on Wednesday, July 20, announced that it has started administering Covid-19 vaccines in all the 66 health centers in the city.
The intensified vaccination campaign which started on Tuesday, July 19, and will last until Friday, July 22, is being made due to the increase in Covid-19 active cases in the city.
Residents can get inoculated with their first and second doses, first booster shots for children 12-17 years old and adults, and second booster for health workers, senior citizens, immunocompromized, and individuals with commorbidities, in the health centers.
They can coordinate with the nearest health center in their area for more information regarding the vaccinations, the local government said.

As of July 19, the city has administered a total of 6,186,696 Covid-19 vaccines where 2,530,910 individuals are listed as fully-vaccinated, while 2,405,542 have received their initial jabs.
There are also 394,143 children with and without commorbidities vaccinated while 1,114,279 received their booster shots.
On the same day, the city also recorded 1,155 active Covid-19 cases out of 266,960 total cases, with 1,738 deaths, and 264,067 recoveries.
