QCPD receives 15 new laptops from DICT

The Quezon City Police Distict received Friday, July 1, 15 new laptops from the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT).

The QCPD Directorial Staff and key officers and Engineer Ariel Macario M. Gaan Jr., Center for Global ICT Training Recognition and Certification assistant secretary, attended the turnover of the laptops at the QCPD Hinirang Social Hall in Camp Karingal, Sikatuna Village.

Brig. Gen. Remus Medina thanked the DICT for choosing the QCPD as the beneficiary of the portable personal computers.

“Makakaasa po kayo na ang mga bagong kagamitan na ito ay magsisilbing instrumento para sa positibong pagbabago at pag-unlad sa larangan ng pagpapatupad ng batas sa lungsod ng Quezon(You can expect that these new tools will serve as an instrument for positive change and development in the field of law enforcement in Quezon City),” he said.

“Ang pagkabukas-palad at kabutihan ng DICT ay kailanman hindi makakalimutan ng mga tauhan ng QCPD at pahalagahan ito sa pamamagitan ng paglilingkod at pagprotekta sa publiko (The generosity and kindness of DICT will never be forgotten by the QCPD staff, and we will appreciate these by serving and protecting the public), Medina added.
