Pasay City gov't passes four pillars of competitiveness

The Pasay City local government was recognized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for passing the four pillars of the Cities and Municipalities Competitive Index (CMCI).

During the 9th National Competitive Summit conducted by the DTI, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said Pasay City was cited as the third most competitive city in the National Capital Region (NCR) and the top highly-urbanized city in terms of economic dynamism.

She said the ranking of cities and municipalities is based on the sum of their scores on four pillars - economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure, and resiliency.

Director Lilian Salonga of the DTI Competitiveness Bureau personally handed to Rubiano the plaque of recognition.

Rubiano thanked the DTI for the recognition given to the city government and vowed to continue to work harder and better to improve its competitiveness.
