No. 2 most wanted man, construction worker arrested in Taguig


Pateros Police’s second most wanted person for illegal drugs and a construction worker caught in possession of a firearm were arrested in Taguig on July 1 and June 30.

Suspect Elmer Lauron, 51, tricycle driver, is listed as the Pateros Police’s top 2 most wanted person for the third quarter of 2022.

He was arrested by the Warrant and Subpoena Section of the police on July 1 on M.L. Quezon Avenue in Barangay Bambang, Taguig.

Lauron was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest with no bail recommended issued by Presiding Judge Joy Casihan-Dumlao of the Pateros Regional Trial Court Branch 262 on Oct. 15, 2021 for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

“I congratulate our police at the Pateros Municipal Police Station for the arrest of a top most wanted person,” said Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg.

Meanwhile, the Western Bicutan Police Sub-Station 2 arrested construction worker Rebico Alingasa, 32, at a checkpoint at the corner of Duhat Street and Sampaguita Street in Barangay Western Bicutan.

According to the police, they chanced upon the suspect in possession of an improvised firearm loaded with three live ammunition of a .38-caliber revolver. He was immediately arrested.

Alingasa was charged for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

The pieces of evidence were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for ballistics examination while the suspect is detained at the Taguig police’s custodial facility.
