A 31-year-old man under the police's drug watch list was caught in the act of examining a small plastic sachet of shabu and in possession of an improvised gun by members of the Pasay City police Sub-Station 7 on Monday, July 18.

Col. Cesar Paday-os, city police chief,said the suspect, identified as Reynan Julian, was arrested around 12:15 a.m. along Opal St. corner San Lorenzo St., Maricaban, Pasay City.
Paday-os said members of the Sub-Station 7 were conducting an anti-criminality law enforcement operation (SACLEO) with some barangay kagawad of Barangay 180 when they saw Julian examining a small plastic sachet containing shabu.
When frisked by the operating team, Julian was found to be in possession of shabu worth P1,360 and an improvised hand gun loaded with one live ammunition of a .45 caliber pistol tucked on his right waist and two others live ammunitions placed inside his pocket.
The city police chief said the recovered pieces of evidence from Julian were brought to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for chemical analysis and ballistic examination.
The suspects is now detained at the Pasay police custodial facility and was charged with illegal possession of drugs and firearms.
