Mandaluyong City's No. 1 most wanted nabbed in Antique

ILOILO CITY – A man wanted for rape and the No. 1 most wanted person in Mandaluyong City was arrested in Valderrama, Antique Friday, July 15.

A report from the Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 (Western Visayas) identified the suspect as Reno Odani Jurada, 38.

Jurada, who is facing three counts of rape, was arrested by the Valderrama Municipal Police Station, Antique Police Provincial Office-Intelligence Unit, Mandaluyong City Police Station, and the Maritime Police Station-Antique.

Jurada was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Joanne Hernandez-Lazo of a Mandaluyong City court last May 26.

Police Brig. Gen. Flynn Dongbo, PRO-6 director, lauded the coordination among police units in Jurada’s arrest.

Jurada was transported back to Metro Manila to face his criminal cases in court.

He is the latest most wanted person in Metro Manila to be caught in Western Visayas.

Late May, a woman, Melanie Blanco, considered as one of the most wanted persons in Parañaque City, was arrested in Capiz. She was wanted for robbery and homicide.
