Crocodile captured in Bulacan river

A crocodile that has been spotted three weeks ago in the Bulacan river was finally caught by the Oplan Buwaya Rescue and Recovery Team and residents on Sunday, July 17, in Sitio Tabon, Barangay Malis, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

Based on the report of the Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the crocodile is alive and safe.

Guiguinto Mayor Agay Cruz thanked the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and village chiefs Diosdado Camua and Manny Joson of Barangays Malis and Sta Cruz, respectively, for their help in capturing the crocodile that has been sowing fear among residents.

Those who helped capture the crocodile were Josep Herera, Richard Molido, Leonardo Arizapa, Kent Molido, Zaldy Esusan, Marion Esusan, Obet Chavezm Darel Jamboy, Joshua Gaspar, and Christian Esusan, all of Tabon.
