'Wish Date 3' marks major milestone in music events

Music loving audience got their dose of a uniquely orchestrated combo of film, radio and live musical performance in one musical spectacle held at the Theatre at Solaire in Parañaque City last July 10, on Wish Date 3: Blink of an Eye. The success of this last installment of the Wish Date Trilogy marked an exceptional milestone in the music scene.

The love story behind Wish Date 3 was beautifully narrated through a semblance of musical performances by different artists with their own respective genres in Philippine music. The audience fell in love not just with the story, but with the amazing vocals of Voice Teens Philippines grand winner Heart Salvador.

Adding a magical transition to the love story of Wish Date, Wishcovery Originals’ grand winner Peniel serenaded the audience with her signature soothing music. As the love story approached its highlight, newcomer Splendio Tritus created a powerful impact on stage with their rendition of love songs uniquely woven with a pop-rock flair.

Further magnifying the success of Wish Date 3, are the big names in the OPM scene taking center stage on this first-of-its-kind grand musical event. Silent Sanctuary braced the way for the climactic points of the musical journey with their very own original hits.

Meanwhile, OPM icon Wency Cornejo brought the touch of nostalgia, as he performed his greatest hits that molded the Filipino’s culture of love and romance in music. And as the story progressed, waves of emotions conquered the stage as Yeng Constantino performed love songs that sealed the romantic tipping point of Wish Date 3’s love story.

Wish Date 3: Blink of an Eye will also premiere through live-streaming at the KDR Music House YouTube channel on Sunday, July 17, at 7 pm.
