OhmyV33nus confident PH can top IESF regardless of Sibol’s composition

Blacklist International captain Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna expressed his confidence that the Philippines, regardless of the Sibol national team’s player composition, will still top the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event in the IESF World Esports Championship set in Bali, Indonesia.

Members of Blacklist which ruled the Sibol qualifier for the global event will join the other players from second placers MHRLK Esports in the combine which will serve as a pool where the national team members will be picked.

“If ever na mixed yung roster or ma-chop chop yung Blacklist with Maharlika (in the final roster), I think kayang kaya naman namin," said OhmyV33nus during the Philippine Esports Organization’s Thanksgiving Gala at the Hilton Manila last Thursday.

"We’re super confident that we can win the IESF  kasi napatunayan naman namin ‘to last SEA (Southeast Asian) Games kung gaano namin dinominate and pinanalo yung SEA Games even na meron kaming tatlong rookies."

The Sibol combine started last Friday, July 15, and will run until Sunday, July 17, as national team coach Kristoffer “Bon Chan” Ricaplaza tries to experiment with the possible combinations of players he can make within the pool.

Of course, for OhmyV33nus, it would be best if the original Blacklist V will represent the country in the world meet, considering all of the achievements they had in the past, including the last season’s M3 World Championships.

“Naniniwala naman ako sa chemistry namin as five. Naniniwala rin ako sa individual skills ng isa’t isa and I’m confident na whatever happens, kakayanin naming lima na as much as possible mabuo kami,” he added.
