Rape suspect arrested in Las Piñas

A helper wanted for a rape case was arrested Friday, July 15, by members of Las Piñas Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) in Barangay Talon Tres.

The suspect, Fercival Mendoza, 43, a resident of Las Piñas City, was listed by the police as the second most wanted person in the city.

Mendoza was arrested around 9:15 a.m. in Golden Gate Subdivision.

The police said the suspect was nabbed on the strength of a warrant of arrest for the crime of rape without bail.

The warrant was issued on June 24, 2022 by Judge Nerina Anastacio-Mendinueto.

The suspect is now detained at the Las Piñas police custodial facility.
