Former village councilor shot dead along Pangasinan highway

CALASIAO, Pangasinan -- A former village councilor who was on board his tricycle was shot dead in Barangay Macabito on Friday morning.

Police identified the victim as Raymundo Tuliao 67, with live-in partner, and a resident of Brgy Ambonao, Calasiao.

According to the report, Tuliao was shot on his back and his head, which caused his instantaneous death.

The victim was driving his tricycle along Brgy Macabito, Calasiao highway, with his live-in partner on board.

Along the way though, the victim was being followed by a motorcycle.

Without any apparent reason, the rider shot the victim successively, hitting his back and head.

The shooting incident is still under investigation.
