Adjeng gives us more with the official music video for 'More Than A Little'

Multi-awarded singer-songwriter Adjeng lets her personality and musicality shine once more as she drops the official music video for her single “More Than A Little” on YouTube. Shot in a studio in Quezon City with Adjeng’s trusted production team, the monochromatic music video adds to the impact of the song itself.

Adjeng also expressed her excitement over working face-to-face with her team as she posts fun behind-the-scenes content on her official social media pages. 

Despite its dancey tune, “More Than A Little” is a song Adjeng wrote to talk about her personal experiences in love - how the importance of showing effort in relationships can make things better.

The single was arranged by critically acclaimed composer, arranger, and singer Thyro Alfaro, who’s known for his work with veteran popstar Sarah Geronimo, internet sensation Donnalyn Bartolome, and the JaDine tandem, and P-pop star Felip among others.

In a private Zoom press conference with Philippine media, Adjeng mentions the story behind her single. “I wrote “More Than A Little” in January 2022, welcoming not just a brand-new year, but also a fresh sound with the melody and lyrics I wrote myself.”

As for her inspiration for the sound, she also mentions that 90s R&B was her main influence, simply because it impacted her musicality a lot.

With the track released over a month ago for digital streaming platforms, Adjeng’s R&B single has already garnered attention both locally and in Asia. Adjeng is raking in listeners from Japan-with her top listeners coming from Tokyo, Osaka and Yokohama.

With the traction she’s gaining from Japanese listeners, one of Japan’s biggest djs, DJ Taro took notice of Adjeng, and included “More Than A Little” in “Rhythm and Groove”, a Spotify playlist he curates for Tokyo-based radio station J-Wave 81.3.

Locally, she also garnered support among her peers in the music industry, notably from Lougee Basabas of Mojofly, Barbie Almalbis, Kitchie Nadal, and Moy Ortiz of The Company.
