The #MarcosCabinet: Marcos picks ex-LRTA administrator Robles as PCSO general manager

Former Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) administrator Mel Robles has been designated by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. as general manager of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles announced the designation of Robles during a press briefing on Thursday, July 14.

Robles is a businessman, currently engaged in real estate. He also owns a rehabilitation facility, Angeles said.

"He is credited with having been the only administrator to have made that agency (LRTA) profitable," the Press Secretary said.

Prior to his stint as LRTA administrator, he was a member of the board of Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation.
