PCSO distributes hygiene kits to elementary students in Bulacan

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 870 packs of hygiene kits to the students of Matungao Elementary School in Bulacan on July 7.

The PCSO said that the distribution of hygiene kits was "very timely considering that face-to-face classes will be implemented soon." It was a part of the PCSO's Corporate Social Responsibility Project.

“The continuous patronage of the gaming public to our lotto games also known as 'Larong May Puso' enable us to provide timely health needs of our countrymen. We at PCSO wishes (sic)  the students good health and give your best shot in school," said PCSO.

Each kit includes disinfecting alcohol, face masks, a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, and sanitary napkins. It will be used in the "Toothbrushing and Hand Washing Activity" to be held in the incoming school year, as per the school's Facebook post.

“Ito po ay makakatulong upang maiwasang maghawahan ng ano mang sakit katulad ng COVID-19. Sa ngalan po ng mga mag – aaral at mga guro ng Paaralang Elementarya ng Matungao lubos po ang aming pasasalamat sa PCSO at nawa po ay mas marami pa silang matulungan  (This will help in preventing the spread of any disease like Covid-19. On behalf of the students and teachers of Matungao Elementary School, we express our deep gratitude to the PCSO and I hope that they can help more people),” Principal Maria Lourdes Marcelo said.
