TXT's Beomgyu, ENHYPEN's Jungwon take a rest due to health reasons

K-pop boy band members Beomgyu of Tomorrow X Together (TXT) and ENHYPEN’s Jungwon have taken a rest due to health reasons. 

TXT are currently in the US for their “Act: Love Sick” world tour. On July 13, Big Hit Music, their agency, announced that Beomgyu will be taking a rest after feeling unwell on July 11.

“Beomgyu started feeling unwell on July 11 while being on tour in the United States and subsequently sought consultation from a local doctor. Receiving the medical opinion that he would be able to participate in stage performance, Beomgyu went on stage for the Atlanta show today,” it said, referring to the concert held on July 12. 

It added, “However, he stepped away during some parts of the stage performance as he felt that his condition was not fully recovered. Beomgyu is currently taking a rest after the Atlanta show and will focus on recovering his condition and health.” 

“While the artist himself strongly wishes to participate in all future schedules for the tour, we are prioritizing his health above all and approach his participation in the rest of the U.S. tour with necessary flexibility and caution. We will continue to support Beomgyu in his rapid recovery to ensure he stays healthy to perform in front of the fans,” the agency added. 

After Atlanta, TXT will hold concerts in Dallas on July 14, Houston on July 17, San Francisco on July 21 and Los Angeles on July 23 and 24. 

On the other hand, ENHYPEN’s Jungwon also took a rest on July 12 and 13 due to his health status. 

“We would like to inform you that ENHYPEN member Jungwon visited the doctor on the morning of Tuesday, July 12, as he was not in his best condition. He was advised by the medical staff that he should have a good rest. In this regard, please note that Jungwon will not be able to take part in both ‘The Show’ performance and the fan signing event scheduled today,” said Belift Lab on July 12. 

On July 13, the agency announced, “We would like to inform you that ENHYPEN member Jungwon is recovering his condition and has decided to take some more rest until today, July 13 to regain full health.” 

“In this regard, please note that Jungwon will not be able to take part in both the ‘Show Champion’ performance and the ‘BTOB Kiss the radio’ appearance scheduled today,” it said.
