‘Squid Game’ bags 14 Emmy nominations; ‘Pachinko’ gets one 


“Squid Game,” Netflix’s biggest show with 1.65 billion hours viewed in its first 28 days of release, bagged 14 nominations while Apple TV Plus’ “Pachinko” got one for Outstanding Main Title Design at the 74th Emmy Awards that will be held on Sept. 12.

The nominees were announced on July 12. 

“Squid Game” is nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, competing against “Better Call Saul,” “Euphoria,” “Ozark,” “Severance,” “Stranger Things,” “Succession” and “Yellowjackets.”

The stars of “Squid Game” also got acting nominations. 

Lead actor Lee Jung-jae bagged his first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series. Other nominees are Jason Bateman of “Ozark,” Brian Cox of “Succession,”  Bob Odenkirk of “Better,” Adam Scott of “Severance” and Jeremy Strong of “Succession.”
