Notorious gang leader nabbed in Tarlac

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The leader of the notorious Tayag criminal gang was arrested by police during a manhunt operation in Concepcion, Tarlac Wednesday, June 13.

Joint operating troops of Concepcion Municipal Police, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company Tarlac, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Tarlac, Police Regional Office 3, and other law enforcement units arrested Rollie Tayag, 44, of Barangay Sta. Monica, Concepcion.

He was arrested thru an alias warrant of arrest for violation of Section 11 and 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165 issued by Ronald Leo Haban, presiding judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 66, Capas, Tarlac dated May 19, 2022.

Police Brig. Gen. Matthew P. Baccay, director, PRO-3, said that the successful arrest was the result of the extensive manhunt and surveillance operations being initiated by combined units to bring fugitives to the fold of justice and answer for the crimes that were committed.
