You don’t need to bathe or put on perfume when meeting Andrea Brillantes.

She won’t mind at all even if you smell like a rotting fish.

Apparently, she has no sense of smell.

The actress revealed this in a recent interview with Karen Davila, sharing how she learned about it in a funny way.

She related, “Inututan ako ni daddy dati. Silang lahat, hinintay nila ang reaction ko. Doon ko na-realize, hala, may mali ba sa akin?”

It wasn’t clear if she had the condition since birth but Andrea maintained, “Wala po akong pang-amoy at all.”

Luckily, she can feel things.

“Ang meron lang ako sensation, kapag ‘yung rubbing alcohol ‘yung parang lalamig. ‘Yun lang, ‘yung mga cooling-cooling pero amoy po, wala talaga,” she shared.

Note than Andrea is also worried that her sense of taste is lacking.

When Karen asked if she deems it deficient, she said, “Sa akin po kumpleto naman pero hindi ko po masasabi kasi ipinanganak akong ganito so hindi ko mako-compare kung anong natitikman ninyo sa natitikman ko. So, hindi ko alam if kulang yung sa akin. Pero sabi nila ate kulang kaya daw ako mahilig sa mga sobrang maasim, maalat, sweet… Pinakamahirap po is panis na pagkain kasi hindi ko alam.”
