Taguig City recorded 429 new cases of Covid-19 in the last seven days, based on data from the Department of Health (DOH).
According to the DOH’s Covid-19 tracker, as of July 11, Taguig has 497 active Covid-19 cases out of 84,798 confirmed cases, 83,760 recoveries and 541 deaths.

The Covid-19 Tracker data showed that Taguig tallied 28 new Covid-19 cases on July 5, followed by 41 on July 6, 82 on July 7, 66 on July 8, 95 on July 9, 55 on July 10 and 62 on July 11 for a one-week total of 429.
In a separate report, the Taguig City government tallied 157 new cases in the city from July 3 to 9, higher compared to the previous week.
Despite this, the city government said Taguig is still at a low-risk level with an average daily attack rate (ADAR) of 2.37 per 100,000 population. The ADAR is based on a seven-day average of new Covid-19 cases per 100,000 individuals.
The city government stated that an ADAR of less than six means low risk while medium risk is an ADAR of six to 18 and high risk is 18 and above.
There were 35 people who were admitted in local hospitals including two severe cases and one critical. Bed occupancy rate among Covid-19 beds in Taguig was at 23 percent.
As of July 8, Taguig has 856,366 fully vaccinated individuals consisting of 821,211 inoculated in Taguig hubs and 35,155 in private hubs. The total represents 97 percent of Taguig’s total population of 882,512.
