Apart from tapping the NBI, the agency itself has begun its own investigation by seeking the assistance of its Child Protection Unit (CPU) and Child Rights in Education Desk (CREDe) to look into the reports in relation with DepEd’s Child Protection Policy.

Meanwhile, DepEd urged the public to submit complaints concerning such abuses in PHSA to the school’s Committee on Decorum and Investigation for proper and further actions.
