Darryl Yap defends Ruffa Gutierrez: 'She is an old lady, wag ka na lang sumagot'

Actress Ruffa Gutierrez has found an ally in director Darryl Yap, who defended her from recent rumors and gossip on social media.
In a good morning message to Ruffa as posted on VinCentiments on Facebook, Darryl wrote:

In response, Ruffa said she found a friend in Darryl, director of her upcoming movie "Maid In Malacanang" which will be shown on Aug. 3.

Darryl did not mention names, but netizens believe he was referring to former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon who earlier linked Ruffa to a situation with her household helpers.
Feisty talent manager Annabelle Rama, mother of Ruffa, has also criticized the former Comelec official for her tweets on Ruffa.
Ruffa has denied firing her household helpers without salaries.
