PRC spearheads reforestation activity at La Mesa Watershed Reservation
As part of its goal to promote a healthier ecosystem through the rehabilitation of the environment, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) led a tree planting activity at the La Mesa Watershed Reservation in Quezon City.

Days after PRC, together with its partner agencies, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) formalizing their convergence on the Carbon Neutral Program (PRC), also known as the process of balancing carbon dioxide emissions with carbon offsets by scientific forestation, the Commission began its reforestation activities.
“This year’s celebration of PRC’s founding anniversary and 2022 PRC Week was even made noteworthy with the conduct of the tree planting and tree growing activity,” said PRC.
Among PRC’s partner agencies were the Society of Filipino Foresters Incorporated (SFFI), Climate Change Commission (CCC), and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Volunteers, staff, and guests planted primewood Molave at the Million Trees Project Nursery and Eco-Learning Center of La Mesa Watershed Reservation area in Quezon City last June 25 in time for the 49th Founding Anniversary of PRC and in support of the Philippine Arbor Day, said the Commission on Monday, July 11.
