Pokwang breaks silence on split from Lee O'Brian

No bad blood.

This is how comedienne Pokwang described her breakup with American actor Lee O'Brian, father of her youngest daughter.

Recall that TV host Ogie Diaz confirmed the split a few days ago.

Meanwhile, on Instagram, Pokwang finally talked about the separation.

She wrote: "Yes its been seven months since tapusin namin ni papang ang lahat, pero maayos at mapayapa, at bilang magkaibigan na lamang mas nagagampanan namin ang mga tungkulin bilang magulang ni Malia."

Pokwang added, "Natapos man ito sa di inaasahang panahon hindi dito hihinto ang pagiging nanay ko sa mga anak ko. at mas lalo kong minahal ang mga biyayang sakin ay binigay ng panginoon."

According to the Kapuso star, she continues to find inspiration from her late mother for being strong and firm.

"Salamat sa iyo at alam kong lagi kang nakagabay sa amin ng mga apo mo kaya ni minsan at kailan man di ka mawawaglit saking mga dasal," Pokwang told her Mama Gloria, who passed away in 2020.

The latter also has a message to single parents like her.

"Sa mga single parent na kagaya ko hindi karma ang natapos na pagmamahalan kundi mas pinapatatag ka at pinaghahanda ka sa mas magaganda at mas maraming biyaya," she said. "Hindi karma ang mabiyayaan ka ng mga anak na nagpapasaya at nagpapangiti sayo araw araw at dahilan ng pagsisikap mo sa buhay #Wagmapagodparasamgaanak."

Recall that some days ago, Pokwang slammed a basher who deemed her split with Lee as "karma."
