BACOLOD CITY -- A young woman listed as top 2 in the priority list of Police Station 5 was arrested in a buy-bust operation at Bangga Bagul, Barangay Granada here on Sunday night, July 10, after the raiders found 77 grams of shabu worth P510,000 in her possession.

The subject was identified as Mariane Gumban, 25, of Barangay Granada.
Police Lt. Melvin Mercado, deputy chief of Police Station 5, said that Gumban had been under surveillance for two months after the authorities received information on her alleged involvement in illegal drug trade.
With the volume of the drug recovery, Gumban is considered a high value individual, according to Mercado.
Mercado said they are checking with other police stations if Gumban was previously arrested.
The said illegal drugs was part of the more than P1 million drug haul of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) in a span of one day.
