Online content creator Donnalyn Bartolome drew flak recently posting on social media several photos of her acting like a toddler to celebrate her 28th birthday.

The actress-singer also uploaded a behind-the-scene video about the same on her YouTube channel.

It immediately received mixed reactions, with some people deeming it "inappropriate."

One even explained why it's "problematic."

"For the sake of discussion, I watched her vlog entitled 'Baby Mo Birthday Shoot,' fist part pa lang sinabi na ni Donnalyn na it's her first 'daring' and 'sexy' photoshoot. And nong nagstart na nga ang shoot, she asked if mukha ba s'yang baby, and someone from her team said na mukha s'yang 'seductive baby.' So the whole shoot is intended to project Donnalyn as a seductive baby," it read.

Another pointed out it's something "off" and "disturbing."

"I do not have something personal against you, but portraying babies as hot mature seems inappropriate. This would actually feed perpetrator's ego and sexual fantasies, where pedophilic culture arises because it would only create notion that this is something 'acceptable.'"

Donnalyn quickly extended an apology, relating it was an "honest mistake."

According to her, it was never her intention to enable sexual predators.

"I couldn’t remove my post right away because I needed it to copyright the photos to prevent the spread of it furthermore until I got a go signal from Facebook and other socmed managers, an assurance that they know I am the owner of the photo and they’ll help me correct this by taking down all of the posts involving this photoshoot," she said, adding that people could help them by sending the links of the post of anyone who reposted this for any reason at all.

"Almost a million people across socmed platforms thought of it light and funny because they know my personality and didn’t look at it that way hence our initial reaction to the idea was the same.. but upon reading other people’s perspective, I completely agree. I feel terrible, sick to my stomach and had disturbing flashbacks I’d rather not say," she maintained.

As of writing, all the photos are no longer available on her social media accounts.
