3 nabbed, P680k 'shabu' seized in Dasmariñas, Cavite

DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite – The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit arrested three drug high-value individuals (HVI) in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Salitran II on Sunday, July 10.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office identified the suspects as Alma Ichiburi, Elmer Sabater, and Jesusana Gonzales.

Confiscated during the operation were three large-size and one medium-size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P680,000.

Also recovered were a piece of five hundred-peso bill and 18 pieces of fake one thousand-peso bills used as buy-bust money.

The suspects are now under custody and are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
