Trina Candaza on not putting away the photographs of former partner Carlo Aquino

Model-vlogger Trina Candaza has split with partner, actor Carlo Aquino, but that doesn't mean that she has to put away or remove his photographs.

Candaza made the reaction after a netizen inquired about the presence Aquino's pictures on social media despite the breakup. The netizen commented: "Bakit di mo pa tangalin pic ni c sa insta mo?"

She wrote: "Para paglaki ni Mithi may babalikan siyang memories namin ng Papa niya."

In another post, Trina also said she has a ready explanation to her daughter should she ask about her parents not staying together.

"Because one of us wasn't sure and didn't understand the commitment of starting a family. So when the time comes to choose the dad of her future kids, I hope she chooses someone who has good values, believes in marriage, and loves her more than she loves him, so her child will not be in the same situation that she is," Trina said.

Trina said that she and her former partner are still talking to each other because they are in a "co-parenting" setup.

Asked about her love life, Trina said she's still single, but she hopes the next one will be "the one."

Trina said that she felt pure love and real love when her baby came into her life.

On what she wants to feel about love, Trina said: "Yun ramdam kong araw-araw kami pinipili ng anak ko. Kami yung pinaka importante sa buhay niya."

Some months ago when Carlo admitted that he and Trina were no longer an item.

Though he didn’t share details about the breakup, the 36-year-old former child star reiterated that they’re “civil” and in a co-parenting setup.

Recall that rumors about things not going well between the two started circulating in January.

This is after many netizens noticed that the two unfollowed each other’s Instagram accounts.

Adding fuel to the fire were their cryptic posts on their respective social media accounts.

It also didn’t help that Trina also made public her moving out of Carlo’s place, along with their daughter.

A few weeks later, Trina shared a glimpse of the setup with Carlo.

It was in 2020 when Carlo and Trina welcomed their first child.
