DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite – Authorities seized some P48.9 million worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu in two separate operations on Wednesday, June 8.
In Barangay H-2, Dasmariñas City Police Station (CPS) operatives seized 200 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P1.36 million in a buy-bust operation.

Arrested at the scene were Sandro L. Toledo and Cecille P. Pakingan.
In a separate operation in Barangay Datu Esmael, authorities confiscated seven kilos of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P47.6 million, packed in plastic sachets and plastic-sealed tea bags.

Police arrested two high-value individuals from the operation identified as Said A. Ungpe and Ali D. Masinger.

In a statement, Cavite Provincial Police Office Director Col. Arnold E. Abad commended the operating teams for a job well done. He also urged the community to continue supporting the police by reporting drug personalities in their area.
