The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) opened its first regional Matalinong Panonood (MP) Center in the Visayas region on May 20.

This new MP Center, located at Crown Regency Hotel along Fuente Osmeña Boulevard in Cebu City, is open to the public, and the filing of feedback, reports, and complaints is free.
MTRCB is the country's only regulatory board that protects the youth and their families through responsible rating and classification of motion picture content.
This regional expansion is expected to bring their services closer to more Filipinos and strengthen the monitoring activities of the board.
“Our work does not stop here, our goal is to set up more MP Centers in key locations in the Philippines to make it easier for our industry partners to register with the MTRCB and at the same time, make the Agency’s services accessible to the public,” said MTRCB Chairman Jeremiah “Ogie” Jaro who led the opening and blessing ceremony of the new MP Center.
