“Stranger Things 4” topped Netflix’s Global Top 10 chart for the second straight week and set three new records.
The sci-fi horror series was watched 335.01 million hours from May 30 to June 5 to become the most watched season of English-language TV in one week on Netflix.
According to Neflix, “Stranger Things 4” also grabbed the No. 1 spot in the top 10 list in 91 countries and regions, a first for an English TV series.
In addition, in less than two weeks since it premiered on May 27, “Stranger Things 4” became the first TV series to jump into No. 3 on Netflix’s most popular list with 621.8 million hours viewed. The most popular list is based on total hours viewed in the first 28 days on Netflix.
Meanwhile, “Stranger Things” seasons 1, 2 and 3 placed second to fourth in the top 10 most watched TV shows for May 30 to June 5.
