Mayor-elect Olivarez vows to improve Paranaque City's health services

Parañaque City's mayor-elect Rep. Eric Olivarez said that he will continue the advocacy of his older brother, Mayor Edwin Olivarez, in providing better health and education services to its residents.

Olivarez, who is a registered nurse, wants to improve the facilities and services of health centers around the city.

He said full-time doctors and nurses will be deployed to all city health centers to render better health services.

The mayor-elect also plans to construct a new six-storey building at the Ospital ng Paranaque 1 which is under medical director, Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan, and provide additional beds.

Olivarez said the new building in OSPAR I will be located in front of the hospital using the first floor as parking area to solve the traffic problem.

He also announced that a meeting with the Department of Health (DOH) was also made to turn OSPAR2 into a general hospital and not only as a Covid-19 isolation facility.
