Drinking session turns bloody: Man arrested for stabbing drinking buddy in Tanza, Cavite

TANZA, Cavite – A drinking session in Barangay Daang Amaya 2 turned bloody after a man stabbed his drinking buddy on Monday, June 6.

Tanza Municipal Police Station identified the suspect as Kenneth Trias, 20 years old.

Investigator-on-case Staff Sgt. Jonathan A. Lagario told the Manila Bulletin that Trias was drinking with the 46-year-old male victim when an argument about a personal matter ensued.

The disagreement turned into a brawl, during which the suspect stabbed the victim in the left chest and left shoulder.

The victim was rushed to Tanza Specialists Medical Center where he received medical treatment.

Trias is under police custody and is facing frustrated murder charges.
