As the Commission on Elections’ (Comelec’s) job at the National Printing Office (NPO) is already through, the poll body has deleted all the ballot faces from the server of the NPO on Wednesday, June 8.

Comelec Education and Information Department Director James B. Jimenez said the poll body needed to delete the ballot faces of May 2022 polls to “completely exit from the NPO.”
“In order to exit from the NPO completely, one of the last things we need to do is we need to remove Comelec from the NPO server,” he said.
Jimenez noted that many ballot faces were deleted as ballots are precinct specific.
“So isang (one) ballot face is unique for a specific location. Napakarami po niyan (That’s so many),” he added.
Jimenez noted that the poll body still has a copy of the said deleted ballot faces, saying only the ones in the server of the NPO were deleted.
The said ballot faces in the NPO server were deleted in front of the political parties, citizens’ arm groups, the media, and other stakeholders.
