Angelika dela Cruz cries foul over alleged death threats

Angelika dela Cruz recently revealed getting a death threat message along with some bullets.

She even shared the photo of the said items on her social media account.

The Barangay Captain of Longos, Malabon City wrote: "Napaka dumi po tlg ng politika sa ating bansa.."

"Yan po ang sulat at bala na pinadala sa XO ng aming Barangay na nagsasabi na may 4 daw na susunod at kaya may umiikot na d kilala sa bahay naming mag kapatid..," she added. "Grabe naman kayo kung sino man kayo na gumagawa nito sa amin."

Recall that the actress-singer joined the political world in 2013.

In 2020, Angelika slammed a netizen who accused her of not doing her job and responsibility as Barangay Captain in Longos, Malabon City amid the COVID-19 scare. 

"Hoy g*ga ka pagnapuna ka sa facebook page mo dahil wala kang kwentang kapitan binubura mo ang comment? Wala ka parin kwentang kapitan. Wag ka nang tumakbo sa susunod na election," a basher wrote. 

But Angelika refuted the allegation and replied: "Hoy mas g*ga ka ay Ikaw ang walang kwentang tao bash ka ng bash mali naman Ang information mo!"

"Hindi porket hindi ako mag popost ng work ko Sa barangay wala akong ginagawa.. ayan isaksak mo Sa baga mo ang pictures ng matahimik ka! TROLL!," she added, along with a picture of her wearing a face mask while carrying a disinfect backpack equipment.

At that time, Angelika also went live on social media and showed how she and other members of the barangay cleaned their areas to protect themselves from the coronavirus pandemic.  

"3rd day today.. Hindi porket hindi ako nagpopost ng pictures and videos wala kaming ginagawa .. I understand na lahat tayo nagaalala at kinakabahan kaya emotional tayo sa mga nangyayri Sa bansa natin pero pakiusap sana bago kayo manira alamin nyo muna ang totoo (peace sign emoji)," she wrote as caption. 

"And paglilinaw lang sa mga hindi nakaintindi Sa post ko na Yes hindi po kami nagbabahay bahay na parang election na kumakamay at nag bebesobeso sa lahat dahil totoo na we need social distancing at dapat daw wag masyado lumapit Sa tao pero nagiikot kami para mag disinfect at nagtatrabaho kaming lahat sa barangay."
