Partly cloudy skies, isolated rain showers persist due to ridge of high pressure area

The ridge or extension of high pressure area will deliver another partly cloudy day with chances of rain showers or thunderstorms over most parts of the country in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Tuesday, June 7.
The entire country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms, the State weather bureau said.
PAGASA advised the public to remain vigilant against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms, which are often accompanied by sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusty winds, and sometimes hail.
The western and northern sections of northern Luzon may experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
