President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. did not spend any of his personal funds for the whole duration of his campaign according to a member of his legal team, Atty. Drixel Dabatos.

His camp filed his Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday, June 7, a day before the deadline.
Dabatos stated that since they still have some excess from campaign donations, Marcos Jr. no longer needed to use any of his personal resources. In his SOCE, he received total contributions amounting to P624,684,320.09 while he declared total expenditures of P623,230,176.68.
Dabatos said that he will pay the income tax for the P1.45 million leftover from campaign donations. Following the rule of spending P10 per voter, Dabatos said that the expenditures are within the threshold since there are 67 million registered voters.
A big chunk of the expenses, according to her, went to TV advertisements, political rallies, and poll watchers.
Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) bared that it spent P272 million by way of expenses in the last 2022 presidential campaign, which it said was well below the maximum expenditure of P337 million allowed by law for a national political party.
Meanwhile, Vice President Leni Robredo also submitted her SOCE on the same day.
