The Manila Cathedral in Intramuros is one with Pope Francis in praying for the victims of the shooting incident in Nigeria.

"We are one with our Holy Father Pope Francis in sending his condolences and prayers for the victims of the terror attack on a Catholic Church on Pentecost Sunday," the Cathedral said in a Facebook post Tuesday, June 7.
"We continue to pray for justice and peace especially for persecuted Christians around the world," it further read.
On June 5, a gunman entered St. Francis Xavier Church in Owo, Nigeria and open fired on worshippers killing over 50 people, including several children.
Pope Francis earlier expressed his “spiritual closeness” to the Nigerian Catholics, especially to the victims of the attack.
He also prayed for the conversion of those "blinded by hatred and violence."
