A member of the Jericho Ubarro criminal group involved in carnapping was arrested by members of the Pasay City police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Monday, June 6.
Col. Cesar Paday-os, city police chief, said the suspect, identified as Byron Donggan who was using the aliases Byron Donggon, Viron Dongon, 20, and a resident of Maryluz St., Barangay 127, Pasay Cityplaced, has been listed as one most wanted persons in the city.
He was arrested by members of the WSS during the conduct of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) at around 4:40 p.m. along M. dela Cruz St., Pasay City.
He said the team of WSS, together with members of Sub-Station 4, conducted SACLEO for the arrest of wanted persons in the city.
The operatives carried a warrant of arrest against him for violation of RA 6539, the Anti-Carnapping Act of 1972, issued by Judge Paulino Gallegos of Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 115 with a recommended bail of P300,000.
The city police chief said the suspect is now detained at the Pasay City custodial facility.
