BTS asks fans to share stories on YouTube Shorts to mark anniversary
K-pop idol and Grammy-nominated group BTS will be releasing the anthology album “Proof” on June 10 to mark their ninth anniversary since debut.
As part of the celebration, BTS are asking their fans, the ARMYs, to share their stories of unforgettable moments.

In a letter, BTS said:
“DEAR ARMY,
“For nine years, you have been our greatest champions. As we embark on the journey to our 10th year as a band, we want to remember and celebrate all the special moments we've had together so far.
“Beginning this Saturday , we want to ask you to share your BTS stories with us, and each other, on YouTube Shorts.
“From our first concert to the world's biggest stages, to video premieres and album releases, you have been there for us and we want to relive these unforgettable BTS moments with you.
“By adding the hashtag #MyBTStory to your Short we will be able to watch and possibly include your story in an ARMY tribute video we are making that will feature a collection of these memories.
“ARMY, we love you SO much. thank you for sticking by us and we can't wait to see what you create!”
YouTube announced the dates of the #MYBTSTORY moments on YouTube Shorts. These are:
June 10: #MyBTStory Launch
June 17: V's #MyBTStory
June 20: SUGA's #MyBTStory
June 22: RM's #MyBTStory
June 24: Jung Kook's #MyBTStory
June 27: Jimin's #MyBTStory
June 29: Jin's #MyBTStory
July 1: J-Hope's #MyBTStory
“The BTS anthology album that embodies the history of BTS will be released as they begin a new chapter as an artist that has been active for nine years to look back on their past endeavors. The anthology album ‘Proof’ that consists of three CDs includes many different tracks - including three all-new tracks - that reflect the thoughts and ideas of the members on the past, present and future of BTS,” according to Big Hit Music.
On May 31, BTS met US President Joe Biden at the White House and discussed anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination.
BTS debuted on June 13, 2013.
