Mobazane, BloodThirstyKings nip V33wise-less Sibol in showmatch

Michael “Mobazane” Cosgun gave BloodThirstyKings a huge lift in the winner-take-all as the M3 World Championship second runner-up took down the V33wise-less Sibol MLBB team, 3-2, in their showmatch during the RealMe MLBB Cup Season 6 on Sunday.

Mobazane, who bagged all of the MVP citation in BTK’s three wins, saved his best for last as he put up flawless 7-0-4 KDA on the jungle Balmond in Game 5 to score the come-from-behind triumph against the Sibol team which had Aaron “Eyon” Usi and Kiel “Oheb” Soriano in place of Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna and Daneri “Wise” Del Rosario.

Mobazane also got ample support from the rest of his crew with Ian “Fwdchckn” Hohl providing the damage on his Brody and Shark on the setups using his Grock. Its second Filipino member, Ichiji, also had a series long brilliance for the American squad as he held the frontlines with sturdy picks on the Uranus and Esmeralda.

BTK leaned on its early pick-offs in the decider as Mobazane quickly snowballed. The Filipinos tried to put the pressure on Frwdchickn’s lane but he managed to get some trades every time Sibol succeeded in taking him down. It was all BTK from that point as they took the series victory with a lopsided 18-5 demolition of the 31st SEA Games gold medalists.

It was actually the Filipinos which drew first blood as they completed a 22-20 come-from-behind win thanks to its solid base defense against BTK’s siege. The Americans leveled the series as they got their hands on their comfort heroes while forcing Sibol to adjust to their draft - a ploy which resulted in a dominant 12-6 display in Game 2.

Refusing to back down, Sibol came back roaring in Game 3 as it annihilated BTK with a 20-2 win. However, with their backs against the wall, BTK showed better resolve in Game 4 to take a 19-5 victory and force the jugular.
